George Allen Shoes Certified Pedorthists is a family owned and a locally operated shoe store in Blue Island, Illinois. We have been in business since 1960, and have been serving the southern suburbs of Chicago with the finest and most experience foot care for the last 50 years. We are a full service Pedorthic facility that specializes in shoes for women and men for work, casual, dress, and athletics in a large selection of sizes and widths.
We also have a full service Pedorthic laboratory on site which allows us to make any adjustments to shoes to our customer specifications. Additionally, we have a large selection of off the shelf arch supports to accommodate many types of foot abnormalities and can also custom make arch supports with a doctor’s prescription.
With our extensive knowledge of orthopedics we are capable of fitting many types of braces. We are also a Medicare Accredited facility providing Diabetic footwear. As Board Certified/Licensed Pedorthists, we are members of the allied healthcare community, and are also licensed by the State of Illinois.
